George Mason University

Our Admissions staff will not be traveling to any high schools or college fairs in person as we are joining in on the effort to help slow the spread of coronavirus. Due to that, we are hosting Virtual Information Sessions and 1-on-1 appointments every week for your students to sign up and meet with our staff, and learn about the application process and life as a Mason student. Your students can also visit our Virtual Campus Experience website. It contains a wealth of knowledge regarding student life, campus tours, info sessions, and more.

Our institution has offered a Score Optional policy for many years because we believe that a student's ability to be successful in college is not necessarily reflected in the performance on standardized tests. Score Optional Consideration provides an opportunity for your students to be considered for admission without submitting standardized test scores. For more information on our Score Optional policy, click HERE or your student can reach out to their Admissions Counselor.

This fall we are hosting a variety of Admissions Virtual Events for both juniors and seniors to assist them in their college search.  While we are disappointed we can't have you and your students visit our beautiful campus community, your students will have the unique opportunity to register for webinars and live-streamed events on our Fall 2020 Admissions Events website.

Longwood University

We’re looking forward to working with you and your students this year! Below are some updates about visiting Longwood, our Accelerated Decision program, counselor preview events, financial aid workshops and more.

Visit Longwood—on campus or virtually

We’re welcoming guests to campus several days each week and offering a variety of times for virtual information sessions. Groups attending on-campus visit events are limited to 10-15 students with masks and temperature checks required. Check out the Visit Schedule and Visit Options.

Virginia Tech Virtual Open House

We are excited to invite your students to our Virtual Open House on Saturday, October 10! Encourage them to join us to learn more about the admissions process, the major they are interested in, and more. Along with our live events, we will have a library of pre-recorded content for students to view, as well as some special information sessions on Sunday, October 11. The schedule for our Open House can be found here.
When: October 10th, 2020.
