The object of the Brentsville District High School chapter shall be to create an enthusiasm for scholarship, to stimulate a desire to render service, to promote worthy leadership, and to encourage the development of character in Brentsville students.  Membership is based upon a student's outstanding performance in the areas of scholarship, service, leadership, and character.  Eligible students will be notified during the fall semester of their junior year through official invitation to join National Honor Society.

Scholarship: Junior and senior students who have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher meet the scholarship requirement for membership. These students are then eligible for consideration on the basis of service, leadership, and character.
