Military Options

  • If you are interested in a military career or even one enlistment for a few years, your first step is to gather information. 
  • Meet with a recruiter to get more in-depth information about military service. You do not have to sign anything until you are ready to! 
  • Consider whether you want to join full-time or part time through the reserves or national guard.

    ASVAB (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery)
  • If you are joining the military, you will have to take the ASVAB. This is offered __________, but you can also take it privately with a recruiter. Practice tests are available on the ASVAB site below.
  • The ASVAB is one piece that helps determine whether you are qualified to enlist in the military and how qualified you are for certain military jobs or specialties. Each military branch has a different cut off score.
