Go to the SRO Information page to get exciting information on monitoring your teens computer use.
As the school year begins, students arebe reminded that I-pods and cell phones are not permitted in classes. Even though this is the policy, we realize that students are going tohave these devices at school. If in school, they should be placed in theschool locker. We have never had a device stolen from a locked schoollocker.
In an effort to assist us inidentifying these devices so they can be returned to their owners ifthey are lost or stolen, we ask that they be marked in some way and theserial number be kept on file at home. If we would recover or find adevice, this would assist us in returning it to the rightful owner.
We have learned that when these devicesare stolen, the perpetrators are able to remove the information on thedevice which makes it impossible to find the rightful owner unless otheridentification is available. When we have this information, weare more successful in locating the owner and return the device.
