New Student Orientation

New student orientation (all rising 9th grade and other students new to BDHS) will be held on Thursday, August 20 from 9-11:30 a.m. Students and families should enter through door 21.  

Students will have an opportunity to:

• Tour the building
• Find important locations
• Meet staff members
• Learn more about Brentsville
• Get excited and ready for the school year
• Start discovering what it means to be a Brentsville Tiger!

While students participate in orientation activities, parents and guardians will meet in the Auditorium with BDHS Administration.

Afterward, families will have opportunities to purchase spirit wear and game passes, receive technology assistance, and take care of other back-to-school items.

 

Underclass Picture Days

Underclass picture days will take place on August 26 and August 27.

Pictures will be taken during students':

• Health & PE 9 classes
• Health & PE 10 classes
• English 11 classes

If an underclass student is not enrolled in one of these classes, they will have an opportunity to have their picture taken during Advisory or between class exchanges.

Community Potluck

Let's celebrate the start of a new school year together!

Join us for our Brentsville Community Potluck on September 11 as we come together as a community and tailgate before our home football game.

This will be a great opportunity to connect with other Brentsville families, meet members of our staff and community, and celebrate the start of another great year.
