Cambridge Programme

The Cambridge Programme offers an international, pre-university curriculum and examination system that emphasizes the value of a broad and balanced education for academically able students. The Cambridge curriculum encourages the development of oral and practical skills, an investigative approach, the use of initiative to solve problems, the application of skills, knowledge, and understanding, and the ability to undertake individual projects and work as part of a team. A range of assessment tools are used. Emphasis is placed on the use of externally marked examination papers by the University of Cambridge International Examinations and on compulsory practical work where appropriate. An important principle of this examination system is that students are rewarded for positive achievement – what they know, understand, and can do – rather than being penalized for an accumulation of errors.

Applications for this program are open for rising 9th, 10th, and 11th grade students who attend one of the following schools:

  • Brentsville District HS
  • Gainesville HS
  • Osbourn Park HS
  • Patriot HS
  • Unity Reed HS

Program Information

Transfer Program

Students participating in this program will transfer to the program location for all courses and activities.

Express bus transportation is available to accepted students living outside the program location boundaries through Specialty Program Transportation.

How do I view my results online from the most recent exam series?

  1. Email Ms. Miehl for your login credentials, including username, password, and instructions.
  2. Visit Cambridge's My Results service online. Note: this service only allows access to the most recent exam series (June 2025).
  3. Enter your login credentials. Note: Carefully enter or copy and paste your username and password without any spaces.
  4. Reach out to Ms. Miehl if you have difficulty logging into My Results.

You can access results online via My Results from August until October, when official results certificates are issued and mailed. If you need to report results more urgently to your chosen university or college, see "How do I report my results to my College/University?" below.

FOR CURRENT SENIORS AND ALUMNI

How do I report my results to my College/University?

Students in the United States can now request that Cambridge send transcripts of their exam results directly to their chosen College/University online for free by visiting:

https://gradetranscripts.cambridgeinternational.org/

Provisional results from the June Exam series become available in mid-August. Official results become available in late September/early October of the same year. BDHS will send certificates to the last address on file for graduated seniors but BDHS does not send results to Colleges/Universities; it is the responsibility of the student to report their Cambridge results to their chosen College/University.
